THE CHALLENGES WE FACED
Before work started on this ecommerce website for a congress, we listed everything that was still being handled by hand: attendee registrations, ticket payments and sponsorship deals. That step comes before design on every project, because without it you end up solving the wrong problem very neatly. With events the stakes are higher than with a standard site, since sales run for a limited window and there is no second chance if checkout stalls. The three bottlenecks below were costing the organizer the most time and returning the least revenue.
1
The congress had no platform for online purchases. Every ticket was sold manually, which slowed sales down, tied up the organizers and limited reach to people already in direct contact with the team.
2
Brands interested in sponsoring had nowhere to see packages, terms and benefits. Every conversation started from zero, with no structured offer available online.
3
A congress with media coverage on Nova TV and 100 sold out tickets in its first edition had no website to back that up. The online presence did not match the real standing of the event.
OUR APPROACH
We worked in four phases, with one rule: the next phase does not start until the client signs off on the one before it. With ticket sales that matters more than usual, because a mistake in the checkout flow does not cost the same as a mistake in a button color. The purchase flow is therefore tested end to end, all the way to confirmation, before the site goes live. What the same approach looks like outside the context of a single event is described on our ecommerce website development and WooCommerce online stores pages.
1
We analyzed the event industry across the Balkans, mapped the competition and defined a site structure that supports both ticket sales and sponsor onboarding.
2
We created a visual identity that reflects the premium positioning of the congress: modern, dynamic, focused on conversion and the mobile user experience.
3
We built a WooCommerce platform with CorvusPay integration, optimized for speed: WebP images, lazy loading and LiteSpeed caching as standard.
4
We configured RankMath Pro, set up Event schema markup and made sure Google indexing was in place from day one after launch.
RESULTS OF DEDICATED WORK
The numbers below refer to the site after launch and can be verified with publicly available tools. When you are selling tickets online, load speed is not cosmetic: every second of waiting at the payment step is an abandoned cart that nobody sees in a report. The investment range for projects of this scope is published openly on our pricing page, with no line items that surface only once you get a quote.
1
Google gives the site a perfect score, and it was technically ready for organic search from the first day after launch.
2
LCP under one second on desktop. An ecommerce site that loads faster than average means fewer abandoned carts and more completed purchases.
3
Zero milliseconds of JavaScript blocking on mobile. Buying a ticket never waits, the site responds instantly to every click.
